Every year, the Denise Valentine Foundation proudly awards scholarships to citizens who demonstrate a strong commitment to community service and leadership. We are dedicated to supporting future scholars and skilled professionals as they pursue the education and training needed to build a brighter future for themselves and our community.

For the 2026 season, we are offering two distinct scholarship pathways for residents of DeSoto and Glenn Heights:

Pathway 1: Denise Valentine Foundation Scholarship

This scholarship is designed for graduating high school seniors pursuing traditional academic or professional pathways.

• Criteria: Must have a minimum of 40 documented community service hours.
• Goal: For students planning to enroll in an accredited college, university, or skilled trade program.

Pathway 2: Denise Valentine Foundation MTT Scholarship

In partnership with the MT Training Center, this scholarship is perfect for individuals seeking fast-track, career-ready skills.

• Eligibility: Open to all learners ages 17 and older.
• Criteria: Documented community service hours are required.
• Goal: Supports certification and skilled-trade training programs (including HVAC, CDL, Administrative Assistant, Cosmetology, and more).
